High achievement. Without high anxiety.
Kneller Hall School
An ambitious, values-led school for pupils from Year 7 through Sixth Form.
Kneller Hall School is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 11 to 18, where every child is known, valued and well educated in a caring environment that puts their wellbeing first. Our core values of courage, excellence, perseverance and respect underpin everything we do, and we believe in working hard and being kind. Pupils are supported by their Form Tutor, Head of Year and our pastoral team, and are encouraged to make the most of a wide co-curricular programme. We are proud to be part of Dukes Education.
Our Philosophy
Life beyond the lesson
Excellence is only possible when there are many arenas in which to excel. Our pupils play competitive sport in netball, athletics, rugby, football, cricket and rowing, coached by a team that includes Olympians and internationals. They sing, act and play: choirs, ensembles, rock bands, an annual musical at an external theatre, and drama taught from Sophocles to Frantic Assembly. Our pupils lead and serve four pupil-led committees which cover school council, sustainability, community and House competition.
Once a pupil becomes good at one thing, the confidence spreads into everything else. That is the argument for all of it, and it is why every pupil takes part.
