Welcoming families from around the world
International Applicants
Kneller Hall School is proud to welcome families from around the world. The diverse perspectives and experiences that international students bring enrich our community, and we warmly welcome applications from families based overseas.
Our Admissions team has extensive experience supporting families applying from overseas and is happy to guide you through the process wherever you’re based. As part of your application, we ask for current school reports translated into English, and prospective pupils will complete an assessment appropriate to their entry year group, alongside an informal conversation with a member of our senior leadership team, held online or in person as appropriate.

How to apply from overseas
Contact Us Early
Get in touch with our Admissions team as early as possible, especially if your child will need a Child Student visa, so we can explain the lead times involved.
Register
Complete the online registration form and pay the registration fee. Families applying from overseas follow the same admissions process as those based in the UK.
Send your documents
Send us your child’s current school reports, translated into English. We may also ask for evidence of English language proficiency to help us support them from day one.
Assessment and conversation
Your child completes an assessment suited to their year group, plus an informal conversation with a member of our senior leadership team. Both can take place online or in person.
Offer and visa
Once your child’s place is accepted, we provide the documentation needed for a Child Student visa application and are on hand to answer any questions before arrival.
