Whether it’s university, a gap year or straight into a career, our pupils leave Kneller Hall School fully equipped and ready to handle anything.

Our Sixth Form leavers go on to extraordinary things. Each year, our pupils take up places at Oxbridge, Imperial College London, UCL, the London School of Economics and Russell Group universities the length of the country, as well as further afield in the USA, the Netherlands and Japan.

Others follow their passions to conservatoires and art schools, or secure places on highly competitive professional programmes and degree apprenticeships with leading employers. Some choose a gap year, or a path entirely their own.

However far they travel, whatever they choose, every Kneller Hall School leaver moves forward with the confidence, curiosity and self belief to shape their own future.

How we get them there

University guidance begins in Year 12. Pupils research and shortlist courses and institutions, attend open days, and start building the wider reading and experience that a competitive application needs.

Dedicated support on drafting, redrafting and sharpening the personal statement, with subject teachers feeding in on the academic content.

UCAS submission, plus specialist preparation for pupils applying to Oxbridge, medicine, veterinary medicine, law, conservatoires, art foundation courses and overseas universities.

Mock interviews and subject specific preparation, drawing on our relationships with admissions teams at leading universities.

Guidance on firm and insurance choices, student finance, accommodation and, where relevant, degree apprenticeship and direct entry routes.

The academic team are at school and available on results day and beyond to celebrate pupils success and support pupils through Clearing and beyond.
